Resources for Women Students
Shared interest, shared possibility
Women students attending the very first "Women's Wednesday" commented on turnout, energy, and potential as they learned about existing resources and organizations for women at Wheaton. Themes voiced time and again reflect shared interest in the following areas: creating space for women to be with women residentially (e.g., special interest houses) and in focused activities (e.g., club and team sports); women's health education; supporting survivors of assault and relationship violence while decreasing society's culture of violence; and exploring the complex identities women claim with varied color, ethnicity, religious beliefs and history.
