Parents and students go separate ways until the President's Reception at 5:15 p.m.

Advising Team/Transfer Meeting #1. This is the first meeting with students and members of their advising team to discuss academic issues and expectations specific to new and transfer students. Preceptors prepare students for their advising meetings with faculty.

Students' Resouce Garden. Uncover all the resources and opportunities availiable to you through Wheaton. By picking up your Garden Guide and visiting every table, you will be eligible to enter in a drawing for a semester's worth of free books(up to $300), Janet Jackson tickets and much more.

What'll It Be? Follow four friends as they attempt to negotiate issues of drug and alcohol use on campus. Realistic scenes offer the opportunity to consider the possible effects of substance abuse on your life and relationships. "What'll It Be?" fosters a dialogue through which you and your classmates can help each other determine acceptable behavior, whatever choices you make.

Living the Honor Code. This session is designed to engage new students in an experiential exercise and discussion about what it means to live the Honor Code. Designated advising team locations.

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Matriculation Ceremony. This event marks a student's formal induction into the Wheaton community. New students assemble in the Cole Memorial Chapel to sign the Honor Code pledge and the Matriculation book.

4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Dinner.

7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Floor Meetings. Individual Residence Halls.

8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
First Impressions:Issues of Culture, Race and Ethnicity- Presentation by students of their experiences and feelings about the impact of diversity on the campus and the larger society. Beard Field House, Haas Athletic Center.
