Web Strategy Team announces new blog
The Web Strategy Team's web site is sporting a new blog. Why? We plan to introduce several new services over the few months, and we wanted a good way to keep you in the loop. As new services become available, we will post information on our site using the blog. We hope you'll visit us at http://wheatoncollege.edu/web and subscribe to our feed while you're there. Please let us know (web AT wheatoncollege DOT edu) if you have questions or suggestions.
Take a look at the new Physical Plant site
Ever wonder how to complete a work order or who to call when your office is too cold? Did you know that we have 44 building services employees? Do you know who keeps our grounds looking so beautiful? Wonder no more. The answers can all be found in the new Physical Plant section.
Conference and Events introduces new form to reserve space
Do you need to reserve space on campus? Conference and Events Services has introduced a new online form--and it's now the only way to reserve campus space and resources at Wheaton. Visit Conferences and Events Services on the web to access the form and be sure to submit it as completely as possible at least 5 days before your event. Afterward, you will receive a confirmation email message that verifies receipt of your request and establishes that the space has been reserved for you. Changes or additions should be emailed directly to Conference and Events Services (at events@wheatonma.edu). Thanks to Donna Jackson for creating this new form with contributions from Kristin Turcotte and Gina Boyd.
Please visit http://www.wheatoncollege.edu/Conferences/ to access the new form and review general information about the Conference and Events department.
Vision of Service
'Tis the season for Vision of Service nominations. The staff department, committee, or work team selected to receive the Vision of Service Award will receive a day off with pay, a plaque, and a luncheon with the President. As one year draws to a close and a new year begins, it is important to recognize greatness in those colleagues who go above and beyond the call of duty. In light of this, please click here for a reminder of what constitutes great "Service in Action" at Wheaton.
