Environmental Studies Minor
The Environmental
Studies Minor is designed to help students appreciate
the diversity and complexity of current environmental issues.
Solving environmental problems requires an interdisciplinary
approach and frequently involves collaboration of individuals
with expertise in the natural sciences, social sciences, and
humanities. Therefore, students are encouraged to view the environment
from different perspectives, to integrate the knowledge they
acquire with their in-depth knowledge in their major, and to
gain practical experience through an internship with an environmental
focus.
